I wrestled him in back to back years of On Point Wrestling's Masters of the Mat tournament. We're 1-1. A guy who pushed me to the next level, and I absolutely love him for that.
One of my favorite opponents, particularly in a tournament setting. Delighted to see Tony Deppen in the mix at PPL.
I'm not saying NJPW is all the way back, but I'm into this year's G1 so far.
A surreal time in pro wrestling. We were still watching Japanese wrestling on 3rd generation VHS, but if you dug deep enough there was some wild stuff happening on North American television. Shotgun and Los Super Astros looks crazy with 2025 eyes.

My son was always incredibly proud of the fact that I was a wrestler, so that kind of lit a bit of a fire under me. Aniversario was always my opportunity to show him a little love. There was nowhere else I wanted to be today. I'm definitely planning on wrestling again when I'm healed up.
Heartbroken to be missing this, but a bicep tendon injury has forced me onto the sidelines for the moment. This weekend has always been extra special to me. In addition to being "Aniversario weekend" it's also the anniversary of my son passing. That's why I missed the shows after my rudo turn in 05.
This week's @voicesofwrestling.com Flagship podcast delivered a Sabu obituary that is THE all timer. The man was shown the respect he earned. If you know how significant Sabu was, or you're someone who wants to learn, this is must listen.
To me, this was always THE Sabu moment in his brief WWE run. The man somehow paused on the top rope FOR ETERNITY before hitting the leg drop.

I have now finished it. VR GOTY. Cool puzzles, and a PHENOMENAL story. I'm already ready for a sequel.
...or some additional ghosts/chapters as post launch DLC? You could totally do post launch content where you just work your way to a ghost and free them without furthering the main story...
I haven't finished it yet, but so far Ghost Town is phenomenal. I love puzzle adventure games, but this brings so much more to the table than just satisfying puzzles. I'm completely sucked into the story. I can't recommend this enough.

Look man, mistakes happen...
I heard a lot of kind words about how I looked (physically) returning to the ring last night. If you want to know how real body dysphoria can be, I nearly canceled off the show because I felt like I didn't look like I belonged in a ring. Be kind to yourself. You're probably your own worst critic.
This is too perfect. The date hits me in the feels, probably harder than most.
This series came at the absolute best time for me. Highly recommend.
