It's fucking infuriating because white people really shouldn't keep score of who benefits from their race and how often they do. I never asked for white privilege, I never consciously leverage it, but I'm goddamn sure I've benefitted from my whiteness more than anyone has from affirmative action.
If the first place your mind goes upon seeing a Black professional is "What white man was denied this job so she could have it?" you are literally the definition of racist. With no evidence but the color of her skin, you are making SWEEPING assumptions about her ability. This isn't complicated!
