I am a scientist. I work toward the day when we eliminate vascular disease. For a day when there is no one waiting for an organ transplant. My research is (was) funded by the NIH. It creates jobs. Shutting us down in the name of “efficiency” risks my future and yours. @standupforscience.bsky.social

Two new books in the TBR pile from this weeks Science magazine: the Secret History of the R$&@ Kit: A True Crime Story by Pagan Kennedy and Anatomy of a Train Wreck by Ruth Leys. The latter is about the crisis of reproducibility in experimental psychology. Can’t wait!
