I missed a few weeks and tbh it’s been hard to feel happy. Postpartum is no joke.

Of course I forgot to take pictures as a family today. 🫠🥲🙃

All the times I was happy this week (12/29/24): 🧁💕

My youngest took some longer naps that allowed me to get stuff done. It’s been hard to find motivation and a groove with two under two.
Today feels like a good day ❤️

Today I:
-took my vitamins
-kept myself fed
-sorted baby clothes for donation and put away ones that my one year old has outgrown
-put away all the clean baby clothes
-wrapped some late arrival christmas gifts
-washed dishes

These are so beautiful!! I also definitely do not need another tarot deck. But maybe?!….

Officially filed for my maternity leave. I can’t wait to just cuddle and feed my newborn. Working during this time has been a struggle.

Sent some hail mary emails. I could use a miracle or $10,000 right now to get myself out of this financial whole.

I’d like to also:
-take a shower
-make dinner
-put away the rest of mine and my husband’s laundry

It probably doesn’t seem like a lot. But i am six weeks postpartum and lately I’ve been really struggling. Any movement is an achievement. Usually i only breastfeed my daughter and drink water

Today I managed to:
- do a few work tasks I’ve been avoiding
- put away the babies’ clean clothes
- wash all the dishes
- give the newest little a bath
- kept myself fed and hydrated
- cleared some mail i didn’t want to open

You really do!! I don’t have a large friend group so I thought the people I had were solid. They all just vanished and now I just get “i miss you” texts and broken plans. I’m so over it.

This coming year I’m giving people the same energy they give us. If you haven’t shown up for me and my babies, don’t expect us to be readily available to you when its convenient.
I’m so tired of getting ready and people not showing up.

I agree 1000%! I do the exact same thing, I just leave things in the cart and watch price fluctuations till it hits something I’m okay with paying.
When I worked in retail the better sale was the day before black friday and the day of everything got marked up. It was crazy to see and be a part of.

Wtf is going on

3 days left and i’ve been gold locked since day 20. This season was a joke with duplicates and the smaller sticker packs. 🙃

Just purchased our first christmas tree. We will have our eldest son with us this year and I couldn’t have us not having a tree. 🥹🥹🥹
We never get to celebrate christmas together as a family.
