Also, I get that most payment processors (like VISA/MC/ETC) are just the middle man, but they make on average about 5% per transaction.

If I just withdrew my money from my bank and handed it to someone, they're not making that "~5%" off the transaction.

They just facilitate a transaction.

You see, payment processors arguments fall through the floor when you point out the following:

I can withdraw all my money from your establishment, literally hand said money to person you deem "irreputable", and you suffered two major blows.

Loss of business, and loss of revenue.

Fuck off.

I stopped using SubscribeStar because when I was attempting to …well audit my finances through them, it was a complete and total mess. None of the numbers matched.
The documents I received from them were also wrong.
When I reached out to customer support, worst experience ever. No professionalism.

I had an incredibly bad experience using SubscribeStar as a platform, that I would never recommend using their services unless you’re desperate anyways.
