When I was in uni (in the Nlds) there were several older people taking the same classes. I've never heard of it being looked down on here, more a case of "If you have the time, interest and money, why not?"
My Mum started an art history course at 79 just for the fun of it. She's having a blast.

As I understand it, the rating of a debt indicates the likelihood of it being repaid. So junk status here means they will probably default, so to cover his risk the loaning co will either raise interest rates or sell the debt on for less than the face value to get at least something back.

I downloaded an app last Spring to identify the pollinators I got on my native plants. At first I was disappointed that the first what I though bee was in fact a fly. Someone more knowledgeable than me helped me realise that bee pollinators are just as important as bees!
