Just FYI, for folks who have stopped paying attention. Book ban bill (which would absolutely cover romantasy, as well as all things LGBTQ+) in the works. Modeled after one that passed in Iowa (of course) years ago.

People's attention is drifting away, partly because ICE told everyone they were leaving (FYI: they're still here) and partly just because ... people get tired of stories and want to move on.
I get it. We're also, frankly, tired of this story. But it's not actually over here.
It's been one of those days where I've spend six solid hours in the classroom actively teaching.

No pics, ‘cause they're against rink rules. But I officially got back on roller skates for the first time in well over a year and a half today.

BREAKING: The Department of Education has ended its directive that attempted to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in schools nationwide.
This is a victory for academic freedom and education equity.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
There are non US citizens influencing our elections, they’re called corporations.
The establishment wants us to not focus on this.
