Oh hey! I finally got Linux installed on bricked Win11 mini Pc. W00t! The "updates" MS pushed out made my low resource machine unusable, and locked me out of being able to do anything including using boot manager. If you were wondering, for a Beelink mini PC, if you hold down del + f7 it bypasses

Ok...day 2 of making myself sit down & write. Yesterday's word count was 3,158 total. Not great, but better than none, right? My goal today is to get to the end of my word count goal for chapter 1 - 3,842. Low but doable, right? Writing sprint for next hour. Wish me luck.
My mantra today
Writing is hard. I don't know why I think I can do it. I have had so many false starts over the years. A few months ago I got a bee in my bonnet, had an idea for a book. I got as far as making a loose storyline, deciding on characters, fleshing them out outlining 10 chapters. But writing? Argh 🤨

I have not established one yet, but I am working on it. I did decide to try the candle today. My first novel is outlined but having issues getting over that first draft "crap this is bad" reaction. So today I also added a note to myself. Goal is 2000 words in the next hour.
Ok....watching the UK parliment debating about the Iran stuff....It is heartwarming to see how many in that meeting are against what is happening, both here in the US and overseas. There seem to be very few that are praising the "dear leader", and more that are concerned about thier citizens.

This is what happened to my skin this morning when I hit at a spider that crawled on my arm. I swiped at it once, where you kind of see the finger marks. Happens regularly. But yeah, doctors, nothing is wrong I just need to lose weight. 🤨 Yes it itches like a mofo.

I have found that most randos that will do a few pieces online are sketch, and you have to figure out which are honest and which you need to stay away from. Most reputable businesses that do 3d printing usually don't do small batch as far as I have found.
Yes...but there are also makerspaces that are not librabries. I was talking about both spaces, not just the library. We have one down the street that will do it for you, but you do have to pick it up. Bonus points if it is wierd or difficult to do. I get it if that is not something you can do.

Almost done with my first needle felted thing. It is an owl. Still working on the weasel. I want to add more detail. Will figure it out tomorrow. Kinda looking like Hooty of Owl House. 😂
