The U.S. military said three service members have been killed and five others seriously wounded since the operations began. They are the first known American casualties from the fighting.

When the Supreme Court allowed immigration agents to consider race during sweeps, Justice Brett Kavanaugh said that citizens shouldn’t be concerned because agents will “promptly let the individual go.”

Very very glad he's there. But I want to remind people that Dilley operated as a family detention center from late 2014 when it opened under Obama through 2021 when the Biden admin ended family detention by shifting it to single adult detention. Trump has made it worse, but it started very bad.
ICE "should be abolished, but also it should be prosecuted" - Democratic Rep. @sethmoulton.bsky.social, from the centrist wing of the party, tells me he wants his party leadership to go further than just reforming ICE. Doing that is "no longer believable."
