My new photobook on the table
During my visits to Poland and train journeys in various countries, I collected many images. I love trains. One can just disappear into the landscape. Nothing is permanent. Brains are beautifully blank, and the sense of rush is missing. So I made a book with @orangepress.bsky.social . Want one?
Instagram doesn't really work any more for getting updates from folk you like. Plus, it's sucking us into the void of endless scrolling and random videos of women in bikinis. If you want to avoid that, sign up to my newsletter. Occasional emails about my work. No AI. buttondown.com/wojtekkutyla
Cameras and lenses for sale
I am selling quite a few beautiful cameras and lenses. Ping me for details. Medium format 6x6, 35mm Pentax SLRs with lenses, some Sony Alpha gear and Olympus m43, too. All in Edinburgh but I can ship here and there. Cheers!
Wow this one is a real beaut. Thanks for sharing. Shivers.
Thanks man, do pop in!
Poster of my new exhibition coming in April. All information is in the post.
My solo exhibition, "Fragments," featuring new photographs, will open on Friday, April 11, 2025, at St Margaret's House in Edinburgh, Scotland. It will then be on display over the weekend of 12-13 of April. Everone welcome. More information online soon.
Constant Vigier looking at the camera. He's wearing glasses and a colorful jumper. It's a peaceful portrait.

An incredible, touching and smart movie by my studio pal @lauracarreira.bsky.social. A must see. Seriously. A new star director is born ;)
Wherever appropriate, that is: everywhere. At the image upload stage, and then β when it comes to screen reader and other assistive technology support β throughout the app.
Excellent, thank you. I haven't yet fully checked the application's compatibility with my VoiceOver, but will do and I'll report back should I find any major boo-boo's.
@fotoapp.co hey folks what are your plans on implementing accessibility features, such as image descriptions or support for screen readers? Cheers.
Adams. So amazing.
I donβt even know what to say to this. Just read it and think about it. I could probably write a similar article from an immigrant perspective. The system is dysfunctional to say the least. #uk #arts #class #privilege
I would totally keep it if not the fact that I much prefer rangefinders for the ease of focusing. That lens I will miss, for sure.
It's an incredible lens. Probably one of the best portrait lenses I have seen, actually. Creamy as hell.
No, I have other cameras. This one is hard for me to work with so has to go.
I am offering for sale my incredible Bronica set. Have a look on eBay. These cameras don't come any better, really. All recently serviced and ready to rock. A great workhorse of a 6x6 camera. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12695301...
This.
Eager to read this. Okamura's photography was amazing (thanks @hotelamnesia.bsky.social for introducing me to it). And the Troubles have such a history... Terrible but incredibly interesting and complex.
Emily, this is amazing. I would love to read it β can I get access, please? I have a bit of a fixation on the history of the Troubles, and the photography from that period. Thanks a lot!
Too many Land Rovers per square mile, sis.
I am a bit reluctant to get on Threads for a number of reasons. First, it's probably the most behavioural-surplus collecting crap from Zucko, even more so than Insta and Faecesbook. :) Secondly, it'll be yet another platform to monitor and check and more fomo ahead... Ugh.
Better Bolex than Rolex ;)
LOL. I feel sorry for you to have such urges. Haha. Must be hard. :)
This isn't too bad, indeed. Still atrociously expensive, though.
Where do you buy your film, Alex? Analogue Wonderland? I donβt find this stuff cheap at all. Maybe I am missing something ;)
Well, I dunno. Film is expensive (too expensive), especially in colour, and then there's the processing. One can buy a second hand Fuji GFX camera for Β£1,5k or so. A serious film medium format camera, especially 6x7 and beyond, costs at least that much or more (look at the bonkers prices of Mam7).
Some food for thought. As a person deeply embedded in the IT community, I observe this split of opinions and ideas firsthand. It's quite intellectually stimulating but also anxiety-inducing. Worth a read.
