I am a bit reluctant to get on Threads for a number of reasons. First, it's probably the most behavioural-surplus collecting crap from Zucko, even more so than Insta and Faecesbook. :) Secondly, it'll be yet another platform to monitor and check and more fomo ahead... Ugh.

Where do you buy your film, Alex? Analogue Wonderland? I don’t find this stuff cheap at all. Maybe I am missing something ;)

Well, I dunno. Film is expensive (too expensive), especially in colour, and then there's the processing. One can buy a second hand Fuji GFX camera for £1,5k or so. A serious film medium format camera, especially 6x7 and beyond, costs at least that much or more (look at the bonkers prices of Mam7).

Some food for thought. As a person deeply embedded in the IT community, I observe this split of opinions and ideas firsthand. It's quite intellectually stimulating but also anxiety-inducing. Worth a read.
