Went regularly from then until left for Uni in 86. Uni was in Sheffield so saw oggys goal at Wednesday and the 2 fa cup games in 87. Went to games at Cov in holidays then moved to near London 1990.
Cached a few games a season then got season ticket 1997-98. But with young family had to give it up.
Born in leamington. Parents took me and brother to highfield road in early 80 occasionally. Mum was a WBA fan so often to those games. Became cov proper fan when went to the 4-0 win over Liverpool when Gibson got hattrick in 1983. Little did I know these days would not be regular 😀.
Best part of his career was at sky blues. But alcohol and drugs meant not fulfilled his potential.
