Definitely enjoyed Past Glasgow and Lost Glasgow collaborating, like echoes slightly out of sync.

No hit wonder. Author of EIGHT crime novels set in Glasgow. https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/John-Callaghan/author/B007QUZBTW?ref=ap_rdr&isDramIntegrated=true&shoppingPortalEnabled=true (bad ratings are political, truly but weirdly). Economic migrant.

By all means - I had a quick look and I've got five books in hard copy, nos. 2-6 in the sequence. There are some minor variations in artwork and I did some editing later, mostly to reduce the swearies and correct a few typos, so those are still in the publisher copies.
Thank you for the kind review β if youβre interested, I could likely get together several of the later books (spare publisherβs copies, i.e. mine) and send them on for, say, a fiver each plus postage β the fiver to the Celtic Foundation.
Should probably extend that offer to any interested partiesβ¦
It's not even Nixon or Dubya.
Drummists and bassers is an old one.
Why is it canoeists, but kayakers?
Why not canoers and kayakists?
Or any other related combination I can't be bothered to type?
[repost because of idiot typos in the first effrt]
A to Z of birds - B.
Brent Goose, probably Norfolk, UK, 2015.

Or any other related combination I can't be bothered to type?
African Fish-eagle, a large raptor, with white head and breast, otherwise coppery brown with yellow beak and facial skin, is pictured on a thick tree branch, gripping a partially-eaten Catfish in its talons.
Let's see if I can maintain concentration for 26 days - A to Z of bird life.
A - African Fish Eagle.
Prey is Sharp-toothed Catfish. Kruger National Park, RSA, 2025.

Is any place name-checked more often in song than San Antonio?
Obviously, most of these references are in country/Americana songs...and also there is a tendency to refer to it as "San Antone" but they can't fool me, at least not with that.
German TV confused - here are the subs for "Celtic Rangers".
For anybody interested in unsung giants of Americana, James McMurtry is touring in Sept/Oct, including a gig in Glasgow.
(Sold out already in Cork, which is interesting.)

Agree - we need to stop picking players based on what they did 1/2/3 years ago. There is NO margin for error in the current situation.
Also, it feels a bit 2008 - 10 results all have to go the right way, and...up step Paul Hartley and Barry Robson...
Cathcart Road there.
Wonder what the most famous living musician/cultural icon from Minnesota thinks about the gestapo on the streets of his home state?
We can hazard a guess at what Prince would have done, but he's gone, so what about you, Bob?
The artist didn't read the brief.
Six nations, you've painted at the top of the window.
SIX.
Clip Their Little Wings is the first in the sequence, thank you for asking.
The style isn't quite so nailed down at that point, but most of what I was after is there.

Way back in the day, when I was a student at GU, the Tory club could be relied upon to bellow out all the -isms with gusto. Proper armband enthusiasts.
You'd think that, nowadays, they'd just slurp at Farages greasy taint but old habits clearly die hard.
That shot is altogether marvellous.
It's quite amusing that all it takes for English pubs to be festooned in green white and gold tricolours is some rugby tournament.
Either that, or the 6th Cork volunteers have overrun Wetherspoons. You be the judge.
Is that Philly? Great crowd!
Concise.
When I go to a gig at the Barbican, I go beforehand to the restaurant that happens to be on the ground floor of Slough House in Slow Horses.
Except, it just used to be an Italian restaurant on a corner. Now, though, it's a bit smarter and a fair chunk more expensive.
That's Hollywood, I guess.
On the same note, try saying "space ghettos" and not sound like you're a Glaswegian saying "Spice Girls".
I'm not American, as the handle makes clear, but I did once get a tolerable shot of a ZTH in Tucson, Arizona.
Allowing for greater backlighting in your shot, it looks awfully similar. [Attached]
The tail bands may be diagnostic.
Dilemma:
My son-in-law is from Stuttgart (and is a fan of the team) and he's "offering" me tix in the Stuttgart end if we draw them.
Feels like an offer I would be able to refuse.
Fuckin Scott Arfield tribute act.
Both pishbags of the first order, but Arfield is a noble, principled, titan of a boy compared to that maggot.
Apple CEO Tim Cook?
He's a shabby Paul O'Grady tribute act, except without heart, morals, principles or a spine
Oh, they're great!
Such a fantastic bird and caught with perfect head turns.
