Oh! I've got an extremely random anecdote about this Chaos codex only you might care! There is two French versions of this Codex, where the ONLY difference is one picture of Kharn! That, and GW's address, which I overlooked until I got help to understand this "mystery" of the Kharn change 😆

Mine is French White Dwarf #60! My mom bought it for me, likely because I was in awe of "dinosaurs, but warrior-like!"; never stopped loving Lizardmen since, I chose my nickname "Tepec" when I was 12 from a Slann mentioned in their 6th ed army book and now even my partner's family calls me that 😆

Thanks for the laugh! I recently came upon this one in the 40k Rogue Trader rulebook and had a giggle reading it in a "Mechanicus yet definitely Monty Python voice":
