I've been struggling to use my hand plane on larger boards and decided it was time to add a simple plane stop with an angled clamp. I'm more of a power tool woodworker but do occasionally use hand planes and chisels.

I made charcuterie boards as Christmas gifts. Bamboo is a tough material to work with, and I had to order a new and sharper flush trim bit to do the template routing.

All finished with my custom router fence. I protected it with a couple coats of poly so it will last longer. The alignment of the fence plates will be a big improvement over the stock Ryobi plastic one, along with the dust collection.

I rarely use my secondhand Delta scroll saw, but it came in perfect for cutting a 2-1/4" diameter hole into this tiny piece of birch plywood. It would have been too small to support my jig saw.

I built a custom resawing fence for my 14" bandsaw last year. I finally got around to making a longer rail for it this afternoon. Now it will be possible to cut wider boards.
Part of my job as a woodworker is to produce prototypes for clients. We aren't always able to sell them, but it often sparks new ideas and products. This is a new design for an elliptical-ish white oak cabinet knob.

A customer asked me to make a small step for her cat's litter box. This is what I came up with. The step is 14" x 6" x 3" and has a removable tray for cleaning litter that falls through the holes.

A set of white oak drawer pulls in various styles and sizes. Time to move onto the next order in my queue, a set of appliance handles. Wooden handles aren't something a lot of woodworkers would consider making, but they are popular with homeowners.

I'm planing some shorter pieces of white oak to make into drawer pulls. I've found that starting with thicker 5/4 lumber is often easier than trying to flatten a 4/4 board. Thickness planing is a good way to blow off steam too. 😄
