John Psaropoulos reports that because of what's happening in Cyprus more Cypriots are questioning the status of the 2 British bases there.
Kemi Badenoch: "we have put our bases in other peoples countries, we've put bases in Bahrain, we've put bases in Cyprus, so they are being dragged into this because of our bases"
True, & the US has bases here & we're being dragged in too.
Theres a simple solution to all this.
Kemi Badenoch: more countries need to join in bombing Iran so we can de-escalate

Lammy refuses to comment on that and instead says its "an absolute travesty" that there would be any kind of leak.
Lammy is asked if UK forces are attacking sites in Iran. He confirms that yes, if we anticipate being attacked by Iran, we can attack sites there
See how it works. We 'defensively' stop Iran retaliating after being attacked by the US/Israel, they respond so we start bombing them

Does the deputy PM not know that Cyprus isn't a member of a NATO?

David Lammy: "I don't recognise those reports"
Politicians employ 'I don't recognise' when the only alternative is lying.
"What is your thought as to how long this will go on for..."
David Lammy: "The war aims are for the Americans & Israelis who begun this offensive action that we of course are not part of. Our response is defensive action.."
You're letting the US use UK bases to bomb Iran.
Pete Hegseth: "It was unfortunate that the Brits didn't, from day 1, say go ahead & have access but we got there, we got there, & thats now part of the way that we're operationalising bomber runs, and when we say more to come, its more fighter squadrons, its more capabilities.."

He's already told us what he considers those values to be.

France falling into line behind the United States using the same playbook as the UK - refusing to allow the US to use French bases to bomb Iran offensively while allowing the US to use French bases to bomb Iran defensively.
The fact the Israeli president feels the need to stress that Israel does not dictate to the US and Israel did not drag the US into a war is telling.
"Are you expecting to see migration increase because of the Iranian conflict"
Alex Norris: "I wouldn't run ahead to that, these are early days"
Of course migration will increase if Iran is turned into a failed state. And the UK govt is going along with it!
Alex Norris is asked, is it acceptable that the US sank an Iranian warship in intl waters near Sri Lanka
Norris: "I'm not a commentator on these affairs"
