The internet has already ruined a huge part of this discovery process. Now AI wants to erase it completely.

I was recently describing my experience of college research to my kids.

-Come up with a question
-Ask librarian for advise
-Find a bunch of books in the stacks (including ones you hadn't originally been looking for)
-Sit and read for HOURS, including tons of stuff that wasn't immediately relevant!
