90 days of delightful discourse to look forward to!
Ryan Gosling on the other hand talked about trying to get into dancing ballet and how these young ballerinas look at him all "Why are you so bad at this?"
Respect the appreciation and vulnerability.
I can only imagine his first step is gripping the crayon with his whole fist.
Love the recent Jupiter spot and Pillars of Creation images with the overlapping alternate spectra! Really interesting (the much lower infrared contrast to me in particular) as well as visually arresting.
Insane. Your work is an absolutely fascinating blend of science and art; that folks out here on Al Gore's Internet think they have a sufficient aesthetic to "correct" anything about what you do. . . unbelievable.
A 3x3 grid of video game covers. Left-to-right, top-to-bottom: Mass Effect, Witcher 3, Citizen Sleeper, Stardew Valley, Final Fantasy VII, Valkyria Chronicles, Persona 3 Portable, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Final Fantasy VI
9 games that made me.
Really reflective of a lot of my taste from the last 5-10 years in particular, with some ones that had been big (Destiny + Overwatch in particular) omitted as I've pretty much hung those up.

All these primary candidates for whom I did not vote have no idea how I relish recycling their flyers.
A screenshot from a Penny Arcade comic. Gabe is walking away from a staring Tycho, exclaiming "I'm going on the Internet, to find people who agree with me!"
A screenshot from a Penny Arcade comic. Tycho and Gabe are discussing the results of Gabe's quest over some Star Wars tabletop play. TYCHO: And? GABE: Everybody says I'm wrong. TYCHO: Did that cause you to look inward? GABE: It did not.

I look through so many categories and silently beg my browser not to crash as I open more and more possibilities and the tabs grow narrower and narrower :)
Fave from last year ended up being this one: press.uchicago.edu/ucp/books/bo...
May need to give a re-read soon. . .
It took a great deal of time and effort for me to narrow the list down and only buy 3 this time around. So many fascinating options!
Well that's straight onto the TBR list
Absolutely. Came here to recommend it! Pigeon Tunnel on AppleTV
Balzac nails the ending. After a whole tale of his youth, finding a saintly woman to love, betraying her for the pleasures of the flesh, then fumbling both, we finally get the response from the woman to whom he wrote: "Holy shit, bro, you are MADE of baggage. We are not together anymore" #Booksky
I was so confused at first reading this as if you somehow hung *the entire UPS* from a clothesline. . .
There's not. Hope this helps!
Not having the sun lance at my computer monitor at 8am and DOUBLE the sunlight after 5? Yes, thank you.
If the question is "How would mah boy Hans Holbein the Younger make this woman look like the baddy she is?" that is clearly not the answer; he is way better than that. Don't disappoint my boy.
βWeβre just like one big family again,β they say, crawling into the bed together to get a preventable disease βall at once so the whole family can get past it.β
The best one-sentence summary of AI bros I've read.
Don't forget being able to marry the raccoon family
Bold of them to release a first look that skips straight to the SNL parody Kratos
Trans flag with the words: First they came for the transgender community, And I spoke up immediately even though Iβm straight and cis because Iβve read the rest of the fucking poem.
Nice work. These are among my favorite games yet I hadn't put together any of them with any speed.
Managed to limit myself to 3 books from the U Chicago Press sale
Just noticed the old guy who walks by with a walking stick has (today? regularly?) a pipe, too. Well played, old guy with walking stick.
I thought Sanders is still an Independent, not D?
Oh my god he looks about ONE "well actually" away from learning a very permanent lesson about her anger.
I remember seeing John Oliver and Stewart (I think) talking about this years and years ago, how Brits can love the monarch and never need to take a day away from yelling at their politicians. Not a day has gone by since where it hasn't seemed the superior idea.
When their immediate response to enormous art plagiarism was not to hire that person and pay them a signing bonus of a bajillion dollars I felt the nails already sinking into the coffin. I was a huge Destiny fan for years so I don't want to see them go down, but I feel the over/under is maybe 3 mos.
Witcher 3 is an incredible game and Iβm loving every minute of my re-play of it. A small thing about it that strikes me almost each day I play? That you can pause just anywhere at any time. Yes, thank you.
