Went to see Blood Orange last night and the TikTokification of his fan base is so crazy to me. It’s just nuts how that app can elevate a song that’s more than a decade old and make an artist who’s been around for years more popular than ever.

I've basically decided I'm skipping #SXSW music for the first time since 2007 and it's weirdly freeing. I thought I would be feeling more FOMO and I'm sure I will once it's going on but currently I'm just psyched to not have to deal with it.
