eventhough it IS covered in Europe & Canada. Because, of course the US can't support womens health. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Anyways, this intake form at the doc office was such a validating reminder for me that all my symptoms are real!

I FINALLY started perimenopause HRT Pellet treatment on Friday! (I tried a topical gel for 10 months and the absorption was way too inconsistent and a nightmare for me). I cant wait to be able to function again!!! πŸ™ŒπŸŽ‰

Of course pellets are $$$πŸ˜’ because it's not covered by insurance in the US,

Perimenopause PSA: All of these symptoms from an intake checklist may seem random but they are all hormone related. And perimenopause symptoms can hit neurodivergent folks earlier and more extremely than neurotypicals; even age 35 isnt "too young" to be feeling these. And it CAN be treated.

many of us. But its important to remember within this microcosm, miscommunications can still happen. Hurt is still hurt, but also perspective and intention matter a lot. And while out there in "the bad place" we have necessary layers of armor, we might not need to defend so intensely here.

Im proud of you for speaking up for yourself and speaking your truth my friend. You are valued here 🫢

Emotions can get heightened with sensitive shit.
I hope we can all come together, cuz we are not each others enemies.

cant demand behaviors from one another; I know with me and my neurodivergence I would instantly not do what was demanded of me purely due to PDA.
Im hoping we dont lose the plot and turn on one another. Because thats the total opposite of what I believe this community values. 🫢✌️

I think solutions or repair after something like this can look a variety of ways, and there is not just one single way. And you can feel disappointed if approaches to a resolution dont align with expectations, but it doesnt mean attempts to repair didnt happen. In the end, we

I understand there can be big reactions and feelings re: TW stuff, which is fair.
I also think its fair to recognize that just because something was hurtful, does not mean the intent was harm.
And to be open to the possibility of an honest mistake, and patient for responses...

To me it appeared as an honest forgetful mistake (to a change that is relatively new, to label posts with TW). They acknowledged and aplogized right away, and to me the apology did not seem flippant. And their track record of being a kind, caring, and compassionate community member is long and
