check engine light came on last night, right after I got a new windshield, tires and battery all within one week. fortunately turned out to be nothing, just a piece of trash blocking the grill shutters from opening and closing. getting an oil change, this car better be good for a while lol

25lbs down in two months and my blood pressure went from stage 2 high to normal. 44lbs more to go, hoping to get there sometime in July. Feels good to not struggle to exist physically.

her mom is in Ghana and I couldn't imagine how hard it is to be so far away. It's so scary not knowing if treatment will work, how long she has. My heart is breaking for her.

one of my trainees asked to talk to me and said her mom has liver cancer and wanted me to help her read the doctor's dictation... I tried notnto but I started to cry for her and because my dad died from liver cancer. All I could tell her is that they'll come up with a treatment plan

there are flowers blooming on the tree outside and its only the start of February. it usually doesn't bloom until well into march. I need a few weeks of winter weather and sub freezing temps.

also been losing weight, 15lbs down since starting at the beginning of the year. Lost some weight before that without attempting to because high blood pressure and pain was causing me to feel too terrible to eat. Trying to get to 200 by mid-summer, so 50 or so to go. Then a bit more after that.

got my tax return,credit cards are paid off, put most of my return to my personal loan and can have that paid off before the end of the year and then I only have my car payment... feels good

I guess at the end of the day at least its me getting to help my people.

they always give me the trans/egg/nb/genderqueers to train at work and I don't mind but I also am 🤔 at management's reason behind it. like hmm. interesting.
