It's everywhere on TV: cooking shows are hosted by chefs that get thinner by the day. Awards shows that have ALWAYS centered thinness now showcase emaciation. Reality TV stars make plotlines of massive weight loss, or attribute their sudden 100+ pound weight loss to lifestyle changes.

One of the more depressing aspects of the GLP-1 stuff right now is how utterly inescapable it is. Whatever you're doing, wherever you are, there are people shrinking at alarming rates, and endless discussion of said shrinking. There's seemingly no place to just *rest.*

I wonder if this might also be a software thing? When I onboarded at my job, one form (from a large vendor, not created internally by BBG) asked if I had a disability and listed some common things that would qualify but that I wouldn’t have thought of as such. I selected yes as a result!
