That's a stock Urban Arrow Tender, they come out the factory like that (have ridden one at the factory before the box is added)
@jamesontrains
Here to post my public transport and cycling adventures. Some of it might not even be on trains. Trying to leave twitter by setting up this account. Used to be @maidstoneonbike over there, but I haven't lived there for ages so ๐คทโโ๏ธ

just saw a headline about "Britain's most woke roundabout" and I think I'm done
And Gazelle bikes in general are not geared for hills. Less of a problem on an e-bike. You can however just change the rear cog to one with more teeth and your hub gear is now lower. Did this on my previous acoustic gazelle. Any bike shop should be able to sort and the part will be very cheap
Yeah, they aren't really designed to be light, because the motor offsets it. My building has raised racks, but I have to keep it on the floor and awkwardly lock it to the rack anyway. But that's probably going to be a problem with any e-bike
I can vouch for Gazelle bikes in general! I have a Gazelle Orange C7 plus and it has served me very well. Only issue I've had is that I've caught the front mudguard with my foot and broken it a couple of times
331, Ruislip to Uxbridge
I'm sorry I'm a killjoy on this. Unfamiliar with rail travel? Tough. Have what little information we give you garbled.
Glad to be taken away from this wet and grey landscape now ๐
Lots of passengers actually got off the train today due to the football
*When Birmingham City are playing the station gets a regular service for a few hours. To keep a station open there needs to be a regular service, hence the one per week to fulfil that. I am NOT going to be visiting during the football ๐
Currently waiting for the once per week* train at Bordesley, the first stop southbound out of Birmingham Moor Street.
Stopping at all stations sometimes means trips out just to get the awkward ones
TRAMS!
All three intermediate stations on the branch are in the 10 least used stations in London. On the one hand, it is a shame it lost direct service but the train paths are much better used by the Elizabeth Line so it was the right decision.
Photo of a car on the cycle path in the Stationspleinstalling in Utrecht, the largest bicycle parking in the world. A motorist followed her navigation and drove into the bicycle parking. There are information boards above the car showing cyclists how many free spaces there are on which floor. The photo was taken by bystander Tessa Heerschop.
Built the biggest bike parking in the world...
...and motorists will start using it

About half of Londoners don't have a car, myself included. Intrigued as to how this can provide me with faster and more reliable journeys

I think this junction in Southwark has one, but possible it also has a sensor?
If I had ยฃ1 for every time I had to take an alternative route to work in 2025 because the metropolitan line was suspended, I'd have ยฃ2.
Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it has happened twice.
Huh

Spotify Wrapped Template based on the InterCity 225
While you were listening to Taylor Swift and Charli XCX, We were vibing to the Electric Hum of the InterCity 225.
Truly an underrated song. ๐ง

First trip on the Lioness Line (but not my first trip on the London Euston to Watford Junction bit of the overground)
A small, fluffy white dog stands on the back of an orange Tern GSD bicycle. It's a sunny winters day. Patio setting with house and heat pump in the background
e-bikes and small, fluffy dogs for everyone ๐ถ
The Overground track closures are now wayyyyy more easy to understand
Should I hand this to lost property?
Two speed humps at the end of a road looking like they're throwing hands up and cheering in celebration

Letter from the council explaining that the Pavement Parking Ban is coming into force.
It's hard to describe how wonderful it is to get this letter.
I hope all my friends in England will get the equivalent for the nation soon.
@crosscountryuk.bsky.social here's a nice notification ๐
