The recipient of at least two violent attacks whilst in gaol will have made his time inside particularly dismal, a plight hinted at by a failed suicide attempt early on in his sentence.
Yet my feeling is he’s got off lightly, having only served twenty-four - albeit miserable - years.

In your article regarding Mr Yusuf’s party’s proposal published today the first image is captioned describing him as “Shadow Home Affairs Secretary”. I know I may be mistaken on this but isn’t the term ‘Shadow…Secretary reserved for HM’s Official Opposition?
It’s not particularly clear in your repro but my favourite, excitement-inducing part of the poster is the proudly displayed illuminated advert for getting the Underground to Brighton in 15min or Glasgow in 2hr45. I’m less enamoured by the Bovril promotion above however.
