Billionaires want us to believe that they are so brilliant that they deserve more money than anyone could spend in 10 lifetimes, but, at the same time, are also so stupid that they could associate with a man like Jeffrey Epstein and not realize that he was a pedophile.

Unlike Reform UK, we’re not bankrolled by billionaires. We're reader-funded, independent, and always free from fear or favour.

This Crowdfunder powers our investigations. It's almost hit its goal. Will you help us get it over the finish line?

ICE using the same ruse that Ted Bundy used to kidnap people should tell you something.

He’s now at 1.5 million mentions in the Epstein files. I don’t even have to say who it is, you already know.

The cut aways to Nick are hilarious as he slowly realises he's actually got to pretend that encountering a sleepy person on the street at 8am is proof that London is a lawless hellhole.

Countless articles over the past year quoted hundreds of employers stating that Latino-American workers who are citizens are afraid to show up to job sites for fear of being profiled and detained. If they are afraid to go to work, they damn sure won’t go to vote with ICE there.

Only Reform have the right to demand a debate, apparently.
If it's not granted they start threatening unis with cutting off funding.

Been conflicted about it, but Mandelson was the last straw for me. Starmer's speech last week was good, but I realised that he hasn't really practised many of those principles in his 18 months as PM.
It's not a question of 'purity' for me, I just want the best person to stop Farage getting in.

Trust me, the woman of academia are not at all surprised by the number of academic men orbiting Epstein.

New strategy: Make people forget you’re a pedophile by reminding them you’re an unrepentant racist.

The thing about Starmer's speech yesterday was that, to me, although he was saying some good things that I believe in, very few of those beliefs and principles have been anywhere near evident enough in his words and actions over his 18 months of being PM.

I'm a bit conflicted about Starmer tbh, but I'd definitely be baying for a resignation if it were Farage or Badenoch, so I think it's fair enough if he goes.

'The trouble with political leadership is that you actually become responsible for everything.'

Yeah, nightmare. People have unreasonable expectations of you, like vetting people properly and making sure that one of your party's highest representatives isn't working for the Russians, for example.

The whole affair is very depressing, particularly as it opens the door even wider for Farage, but this little snippet did briefly cheer me up a bit.

Exceptional 12-part thread from Peter Jukes:

"The long and the short of this.
I get how MAGA worked in 2016, but only Epstein explains why all the tech bros coagulated around Trump in 2024.
Epstein's money, his Silicon Valley/Russian-backed libertarian eugenicist ideology, survived his demise"
