Please educate yourself on human trafficking. It has a very specific legal definition. The Venezuelans sent to CECOT were trafficked bc it involves forced labor, but not this child. Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act.
They’ll never accept it, but everyone who cast a vote for Donald Trump did real, generations-long damage to the United States and the west in exchange for essentially nothing of value.

I don't think of "supporters of Palestine" as a privileged group. You can't even discuss Palestine on an AILA list serve. Do these folks speak English? Yes. Are they privileged? That's up for debate. But I think people are reacting to ICE's outrageous attack on free speech & opposition to genocide.
Large protests without more = not trump. AOC and Bernie are trying to change both the party and the perception of voters so we don't keep voting MAGA or just not voting. Do more things need to happen? Absolutely. But we can't criticize the vision. We need to build off of it.
Oh you want a security blanket. Large protests give you reeassurance that everything will be ok. But we lost 2024 bc the Dems gave us moderate establishment poltics based on "not Trump." If we dont have a vision beyond "not trump" then we will not be ok. Creating vision is slow but necessary.
Goal vs means. Focus on the goal. It's not about a specific formula. But it is about seeing people showing care for our democracy in ways we haven't seen in decades, about supporting a populist vision that can really benefit the working class
Serbia is the size of South Carolina so it's easier for everyone to flock to the capital for one rally. Pay attention to the overall crowds at AOC-Bernie. Numbers we haven't seen since Obama won in 2008.

It's no coincidence that the Trump admin has included in its hate-fueled assault on immigrants a war on free speech. CBP aggressively searches phones and electronics for speech critical of Trump, his policies, or worldview.
It's the consequence I have the most confidence in. Attorneys are terrified of losing their licenses. And they have to have a license to go to court for Trump. Attorneys may become less willing to do his bidding. From what I've read, there isn't much the judge can really but we will see.
The judge could refer the attorneys for discipline for violating court orders
The judge can refer the attorneys to the state bar for discipline like how Bill Clinton's law license was suspended for lying under oath. Trump has no power over the state bar. Giuliani was already disbarred for doing Trump's bidding. Not sure how contempt works.
