one thing I'mma say right now is: whatever you're hoping/expecting to happen? Will not happen at the speed of posting.
So chill the fuck out and wait a minute.

Quagsire! You sonuvabidoof!
Guy just looks over at the kiosks and goes "oh..." and leaves.
Never before have I felt so 'WHAT WAS YOUR PLAN?'
Guy walks up to the kiosk, RIPS OFF THE SIGN, starts to work on his order and my coworker WATCHES HIM DO THIS and after watching him submit his order and walk over to the till to pay for it my coworker just goes "sir did you read the sign?"
Regarding Last Repost: One time at my work (I work at a photolab) we put signs on our kiosks cause they weren't working. Big laminated signs that read "Photolab is closed sorry for any inconvenience".
Sign on white paper, stuck on a vending machine: "OUT OF ORDER Removing this sign will not make it work"

(My opinion fyi has always been I think funny Loony Tunes Sonic is better than Furry Soap Opera Sonic but the former can be bad too and I like some of the latter entries so)
Honestly? It really did just start with Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and SatAM.
Two cartoons, one a comedic farce, the other Furry Star Wars and everyone arguing which take was better.
Like Sonic just straight up has an almost Catholic Church style schism in its fandom where different schools of Sonic fan preach the one true Sonic and viciously try to stamp out all others in order to get the throne of 'having their Sonic be the canon one who wins the day'.
Like compare that to Mario where it feels like everyone in the Mario fandom at least has a baseline understanding of who Mario is and what his tone or deal is. Sure you get weirdos who argue the setting is actually grimdark or whatever but they feel pretty ignored.
Not to mention I have to assume there's a chunk of the fandom that literally doesn't even engage in the games or 'canon' media and just consume fanworks. It's not as weird or as uncommon as you might think.
And like how do you consolidate that?
People go into this fandom they assume to be about a dumb cartoon scrimblo from the 90's only to learn there's a sizable chunk of people who see his ongoing saga as a Furry Star Wars/Lord of the Rings style epic.
Sonic the Hedgehog remains the singular fandom with the most amount of stupid and toxic discourse because there are entire factions of his fandom who have directly contradicting beliefs about what the character and the franchise is.
I'm a STUPID terrorIST
I guess that's the price I have to pay to STOP Nine Elevun
Shoutout to all the ladies!
I love you girls!
But I'm a guy so that doesn't mean much... or does it? I dunno.
take this.
Think I got me a Vtuber idea now!
Grace Ashcroft the most realistic human in the world reacting to an absolute horror show happening in front of her as anime flash stepping villains and 80's action movie heroes do gun kata in front of her is the funniest thing to me.
Tatanga-Who?
rayne fisher-quann @raynefq So easy to universalize personal experience into cultural critique .. just caught myself thinking "interesting how pumpkin carving is falling out of style" and then remembered im 23 and live alone in an apartment
Considering there's a girl in FF7 remake who dresses almost identically to her it feels too much like an intentional following of fashion styles.
Like they either needed to illustrate she was imitating someone or make the outfit more chaotic. As it is the idea isn't communicated well.
Compare that with Yukiko where her personality and backstory feel like a purposeful subversion of expectations (albeit ones we're not familiar with) and it's practically night and day! She feels woefully undercooked as a concept and character as a result.
my problem with Marie is that her design, personality and backstory feel completely incongruous with one another. She's a mad libs of waifu traits.
She's a goddess but she dresses like a scene kid and is your typical tsundere? How do these things connect!?
The Mansion incident is like Street Fighter 2 in that it's the most important event in the universe but like hell do we know what actually happened.
a diagram of a funnel with "your post" at the top. through the funnel there are several cross-sections: - audience: you, comprehension of your post: 100% - audience: followers, comprehension of your post: 90% - audience: followers of followers, comprehension of your post: 50% - audience: followers of followers of followers, comprehension of your post: 20% through the bottom of the funnel are "replies to your post" with several posts with stinky lines
Same actually
The OTHER major characters who were in Raccoon City when it was falling apart, one of whom was right there next to Leon for a portion of it?
I'd be down!
