Fourth, only have players from great teams plus talismen. Doubling up on unpredictable attacks like Brentford or Bournemouth seems crazy to me.

Content creators will understandably focus on fixtures/blanks because they need content BUT Pedro has looked so good and Chelsea so attacking he's a good example when fixtures mean almost nothing.

Second, defence is MOST important. No reason to have defenders from bad teams. 2x Arsenal, 1x Liverpool, 1x City + 1. No reason for 5th defender to be cheap (although Hill is obviously incredible value). Third, real risk in over planning. No really bad teams this year means form outweighs fixtures.

This is my current FPL thinking some of it is probably nonsense but there you go. First, no reason not to have 15 decent starters. Money means nothing at all this year as there is so much value in cheap midfielders. Le fee, kdh, Anderson, Wilson, Sbozo, Stach all great.
