I kind of like having a smaller community now and while it would be very cool for my twitch channel to take off a little bit I don't want to make myself one dimensional for the algorithm or dedicate 24/7 to being an engagement machine. 🙌

I think I used to be jealous of people who got "internet famous" in the past but honestly I'm not jumping through hoops to fight the algorithm or dulling myself down with the same boring engagement bait that everyone steals from each other anyway.

I remember when I was younger I always thought it was cool to be really popular on the Internet but I think back then it was because so many people were unique and interesting. Now most "influencers" just have the same almost copy / paste engagement farming personalities and it's all boring

No literally. I am so mad, the only thing I wanted from the bundle were the windows and like okay I would have maybe given them $1 for four windows but I'm not paying $2.50 plus taxes (digital items are taxed where I live!) for a single pixel window.

This is called "anchoring". What you do is you begin with a higher price and then you lower it, or you have it go on sale. This makes people gush over how now it's a deal.

Also this isn't about the squirrels. I'm mad they're definitely marketed towards us girlies and ALL IN THE SHOP, but they're the same price mounts have always been. The decor items and the new tmog tho???? Outlandish.

I really wish they would just pause for a second and be like "wait it's actually unacceptable that you keep charging so much for this aesthetic" instead of throwing themselves at it because it just gives blizzard permission to keep doing it C':

The girlies that immediately dump their wallets on the $50+ mercy skins and the overpriced housing decor items without putting a single thought into how predatory and outlandish the prices are are exactly why blizzard keeps getting away with doing it.
