My approach is purely forensic: I turn everything on, let the electricity surge, and then I look for the 'Antique Animal' hiding in the waveforms.

What drew you to make electronic music?
I’ve never really felt 'drawn' to it as a choice; it’s more of a biological requirement. I’ve been doing this a long time, and the reason I stuck with electronic tools is because they are the only things capable of capturing the Infinite Static I hear. /4
You’re originally from Oklahoma and now live in Maine. What was the biggest difference you had to get used to?
The biggest difference isn't the climate; it's the Static.
"In Oklahoma, the energy is industrial and grounded. In Maine, the air is thinner, more conductive."
"Antique Animal" wasn't 'made' in a studio. It was recovered. In a ditch off Route 114 in Maine, first responders found a blue trailer half-buried in a drift. Inside was the residual heat of a man named Gibby, but no body. Just a Bag of Holding filled with corrupted MiniDisks and SD cards.
