📣 Open Alpha v0.12.0 "Of Traits & Tales" released

In this update I’m adding a new system to the game, called Traits. I’ve also polished the player experience around the actual game, like creating a new Crate World screen, character selection and death screen.

So I added a bug to my game that replaces the player with the first enemy in the area...

Honestly, it's pretty sick. I became their leader, they even talked to me instead of fighting me.

Might be one of those happy little accidents that turn into a feature

We've started the testings of the next big update!

So far, in #TalesOfKathay, the player was always assigned a random person from the world to play.

In the upcoming 0.12.0 update, you'll be able to choose any suitable character that you wish!

This also made me realize I desperately need to add more variation to humans...
