The one button on the lav mics adjusts the three level noise cancellation (NC is off in this; it'd be a green light) while the button on the receiver allows your to switch between Mono (blue light on the RX) and Stereo (Blue/Red Light)

Again, $35. There are compromises.

Namely, it records automatically in Mono. If you want to do Stereo audio, you have to use BOTH mics at the same time. The Larks can do Stereo recording with one mic. But this set-up is less bothersome than a big cord hanging off the camera.

The size difference between the cases. The Neewer is two-thirds the size of the Larks case and almost half the size of the Mic Mini case.

Why another lav set? Well, I paid $200 for my DJI Mic Minis b/c I'm an idiot (Bought one mic & one RX, later wanted another mic) & didn't want to damage them. The Larks work in a pinch for video, but the cable is ungainly. The KM19 set w/ it's USB-C RX is so cheap and tiny ($35!) I had to try it.

All right, the $106 Larks do well in a pinch. What about the $50 (I paid $35) Neewer KM19 Lav Mics and USB-C transmitter which Neewer said specifically worked with an Osmo Pocket?
