Did it make you indestructible?
Did it make you indestructible?
My son likes to talk about the Bismarck
Honestly I wanted the shoe phone as a kid.
Iβm Kyzkaistan
I agree with this. Itβs along the lines of why I think we should not allow private schools or homeschooling and require all education to be public. Those who send their kids to private school often have no interest in maintaining public schools. youtu.be/MXZvHsem5OU?...
Just cloak them with a built in replicator to replace destroyed mines. Problem solved. Itβs not like they can generate antigravitons.
I think maybe because when I was a kid I didnβt really get things like souvenir popcorn buckets or ice cream bowls, Iβm more inclined to get one now. Itβs probably the category of souvenir I like the most except for something that has blinky light. I may have bought the Disneyland key.
Iβm a Xennial so approaching mid 40βs. I think I hit most of the age milestones older generations expected and I still donβt really feel like an adult.
Itβs not just that itβs bright enough to shine on their faces, itβs actually projecting on their faces.
Oh, and how JPL, and probably Houston, looked way too nice. Iβve never been to Houston, but I have been to JPL. My wife used to work there. Most buildings look like they were built in the 50βs and 60βs.
I knew the issue with the storm. I guess I was ok with it because the author knew it was a contrivance, but the only way he could come up with to strand Mark on Mars alone. Honestly one of the more irritating things in the film is the way the screens would project images on the crewβs faces.
I usually do the same, but since they mentioned real algorithms it sort of brought it back to reality.
Unlike classical ciphers where it may not be obvious what the cipher is, modern ciphers generally require being in recognizable formats. Especially for something like ECC.
Since cryptography is one of my interests, it does kinda bug me when certain things involving cryptography happen in media. In the most recent episode of #StarfleetAcademy Caleb mentions trying different algorithms including some real ones like RSA and ECC.
I unlocked a new βIβm getting oldβ today. The phlebotomist that ended my platelet donation was born the year I graduated high school. Meaning Iβve been donating blood products longer than sheβs been alive.
Still wintry weather here. Kids even got a two hour delay.
I would say even 15 episodes
I will never understand why people listen to that idiot
I just got off a work meeting and at the end the other guy said βlater skaterβ and it just made me think of Mariner
The percussion section: The ones who actually bring out the big guns
We need season 3 of Starfleet Academy so we can get the Tilly year trekmovie.com/2026/03/03/f...
In Discovery they said the full name of the spore drive is the Displacement Activated Spore Hub drive. Did anyone else wonder why they never called it the DASH drive?
I know. Itβs just so crazy I canβt even imagine the thought process.
I often want to be like βif we assume there are supernatural forces of good and evil, did it ever occur to you youβve influenced by the evil one?β
But Iβm sure theyβd still be sure theyβre the good ones.
Shouldnβt encouraging bad be considered bad?
What I donβt understand is if they started it shouldnβt that mean they were the baddies? I know logic is difficult for them, but make it make sense.
Of course there are those in this administration who are trying to start armageddon and I know logic is difficult for those types of people, but shouldnβt that make them stop and think in the context of their religion
Oh, heh, I never really watched the show. Came out at a time when I wasnβt watching much TV
I know basically this has all happened before, but having a president show this level of contempt for the constitution I think is new. Point being for those saying they want precedented times, precedented times can be bad once the precedent has been set.
It just occurred to me that the sad thing is if this shit happens again, it will be precedented times
