Hello Jessý - I’m a Brit who’s been to Ísland 21 times since 2012, with trip #22 coming up for Sigur Rós at Harpa. I’m thinking my Bluesky account will focus on Icelandic imagery!

From mid-November, the people of Siglufjörður in Iceland will be in the dark for about 74 days - the Sun won't rise above the towering mountains surrounding the village.

The residents celebrate its return on "Sun Day" (around January 28th) with coffee and pancakes in the town square.
