It’s exhausting to watch so many excellent authors struggling for visibility with great books they worked really hard on and wrote with care and responsibility as a constant cycle of rage bait shoots to the top of the lists every time

I would like to remind people yet again that when you buy a controversial book just to hate read it (see: “I’m reading it so you don’t have to!” all over social media) all you’re doing is proving that controversy= money. If you DON’t want more books like that to be published THEN STOP BUYING THEM
