#HorrorWritersChat Question 4: "Took them long enough," I answered.
Does she have an alternative?
#HorrorWritersChat Question: When they embrace their dark side they don't change, they realize who they were all along.
#HorrorWritersChat Question 2: All my characters have one of three dark flaws: seeking power because they think they know what's best, refusing power because they don't trust themselves, or seeking power because they don't care what's best.
#HorrorWritersChat Question 1: Penname Victor K. Sanders. I write horror based on old movies. And, honestly, I think most people's dark side comes down to a desire for power, it just takes many forms.
It is time to end the billionaire class. They created this. They rob us daily. They own our lives and livelihoods through technology. They own the politicians, and they stoke this violence to distract us from ever realizing that we outnumber them 300,000 to one.
Very nice!
#HorrorWritersChat Question 4: Noll, Anya, and Maria looked at each other. Could they really afford to fail National Hugging Day again?...then they remembered none of them were U.S. citizens and moved on.
#HorrorWritersChat Question 3: None of my protagonists would be caught dead in sweatpants.

Q2: Definitely International Squirrel Day. Those little stinkers are plotting things for sure. Could also combine it with Granola Bar Day—squirrels getting bloody over the Nature's Valley. Raiding Costco en masse, tearing out throats, shredding faces...

#HorrorWritersChat Question 1: Penname Victor K. Sanders. I write horror inspired by old movies. And...I don't know a favorite international day. Halloween?
Trump thought immigration was his superpower. Instead, it’s fueling a leftward cultural shift—and a full-blown backlash he can’t control.
#HorrorWritersChat Question 4: I don't think I've ever done a non-supernatural antagonist.
#HorrorWritersChat Question 3: While I don't pretend to be on his level, I tend to use a lot of flashbacks and internal monologues to develop characters and build dread, kind of like Stephen King.
Problem with that is creating a different world that's scarier than ours.
#HorrorWritersChat Question 2: The world I've been writing stories isn't simply a place where monsters are real. It's a place where they're provably real, but most people are too lazy to look at the evidence. So, I violate the assumption that they're even bothering to hide.
Better to be basic than get too full of yourself.
#HorrorWritersChat Penname Victor K. Sanders. I write horror inspired by old horror movies.
My latest story was inspired by Hills Like White Elephants by Hemmingway, mixed with a lot of Robert E. Howard and a touch of The Cats of Ulthar by Lovecraft.
