These are Olena Udovichenko and her son Hordii.

A Russian missile killed them today.

Olena was a teacher in a Kharkiv school, Hordii was a second-grader there.

Last night, Russia killed 11 people in Kharkiv, including Olena and Hordii.
RIP.

Four US bombers land at RAF base in UK after warning of surge in strikes on Iran B-1 Lancers arrive at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire after Starmer allows US to use UK as a base for β€˜defensive’ action

Who'd ever have imagined that the US would stretch the word "Defensive" to the extreme.

The forever gift of #Brexit

Shooting ourselves in both feet almost daily for 10 years

Trade, exports, inward investment, jobs, growth, economic strength, quality of life, travel, freedom of movement

Idiot racists threw it all away thanks to Farage, Johnson, Tories & tax dodgers

And if NR get into power in France, they'll veto any future option for us to re-join.

Remember though, we hold all of those lovely cards.

I agree.

As with all public services, you get what you pay for.

I don't doubt there will be an enquiry, with under-valued and over-worked prison officers taking the blame.

It's odd, isn't it.

Who Starmer removed from the Labour party, and who he hasn't.

Shift in the Gulf Stream could signal ocean current collapse Models show that as the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation gets weaker, the Gulf Stream will drift northwards. There are signs that this is already happening, and a more abrupt shift could wa...

What's the point?

To prolong a nation while the world falls?

Anyway, if ocean heating keeps increasing we're going to be short on oxygen.

So we can survive another year? Or two?

Once oceanic collapse kicks in we'll be stuffed anyway.

Or should we start stockpiling oxygen too?

Putting aside the physical threat, try psychology.

When she's out of the room say "You're very brave."

Nigel Farage is in Mar-a-Lago tonight (not Clacton, obvs). Via Politico: "What Farage should be doing: Sorting out his Reform documents with Companies House. The party is overdue on submitting a [legally mandatory] statement."

Why are the Bamfords too stupid to realise that once Reform crash the economy no-one is going to need a JCB?

I suspect people like you and I will never understand them, any more than we can understand what drives the billionaires.

They love money. They think money matters. They think it's how people are measured.

But, they have no joy in life.

Again, they are not listened to.

Oh, just the business vehicle of Nigel Farage masquerading as a political party breaching its obligations at Companies House.

That's a novel idea.

I worked with some interesting characters in government. Some of the good ones might surprise you.

Just a quiet point here, in praise of the civil service.

They are the ones that keep Government running, no matter what.

That's not a comment on Labour. Just a reality that gets forgotten.

Why? He'll only bankrupt it.

Perhaps, this is the wrong question.

Never mind why anyone wouldn't want to use the Palintir App.

Rather more, why does Wes want to use it at all?
