Had to find and listen to it.
Sort of reminds me of a kid trying to work out how to play a wind instrument they've just found.

Ordinary person - I won't post often. Passionate about the world & justice for her people. Grieving as I live the path we are on. Creating a tiny patch of bushland in my little garden on Awabakal land. Likes & shares should not be taken as an endorsement.

Even stranger when you consider the three 'peoples of the book' (Jews, Christians and Muslims), worship the same god.
One day.
Sadly, not yet.
So much work still to do.
Working from my sole maternal aunt and eldest from the paternal side it would be ValerieElla.
ValEl for short.
They really are.
I plan to install a couple of bat houses eventually when i'm confident there's enough resident insect activity to support a colony.
I get them visiting but neverin large numbers. They love my neighbours mulberry tree and seem to enjoy the flower heads on my umbrella tree.
I have a very young fig that hasn't fruited yet - I assume that will make them happy too.
I also get occasional micro bats - tiny, dear little things.
And when it's accompanied by a clear, honest explanation, it's often readily accepted even where the adjustment wasn't expected.
Completely adorable π
I always thought they moved north during our winter.
How odd.
I'm only up the road in Lake Macquarie.
I called them equinox birds for years before I knew what they were because they arrive around the spring equinox and leave fairly soon. They're part of summer's song.
God forbid you have a camp of flying foxes move in.
She'd be hysterical.
Can't be said often enough.
Koels will be heading north soon.
I rarely hear them more than couple of weeks after the autumn equinox.
The only upside is that it won't be long till whale season starts.
Your neighbour is whinging about a kookaburra?

A growing orchid is a lovely idea.
She'll get a reminder of your kindness as it flowers each season in the future.
Sure, we'll retract that paper we published that someone else faked your name on.
Just pay us $500.
βIt is usually assumed that young people are more liberal..Not according to..research carried out in 29 countries..that suggests almost a third of gen Z men believe a wife should always obey her husband. A similar number say a husband should have the final sayβ

The U.S. has perpetrated an atrocity at sea, 2,000 miles away from Iran Frigate Dena, a guest of India's Navy, was struck in international waters without warning. The boat was participating in a joint exercise to foster maritime cooperation.

Wow.
What a pathetic, toddler style, argument: 'it was the AI, not me'.
This is wonderful.
You should be pleased!
It looks fantastic.

February CO2 data from Mauna Loa was just posted by NOAA, and the 3-year running average for the mean rate of atmospheric CO2 growth hit yet another new record high, now up to 8.15 ppm per 3 years.
And that dip in the early 1990's was Mt. Pinatubo.
Kanwal Sibal @KanwalSibal ... The Iranian ship will not be where it was if we had not invited it to talk part in our Milan exercise. We were the hosts. I am told that as per protocol for this exercise ships cannot carry any ammunition. It was defenceless. The Iranian naval personnel had paraded before our president. The attack by the US submarine was premeditated as the US was aware of the Iranian ship's presence in the exercise to which the US navy was invited but withdrew from participation at the last minute, presumably with this operation in mind. The US has ignored India's sensitivities as the ship was in these waters because of India's invitation. We are far from politically or militarily responsible for the US attack. Our"responsibility" is at a moral and human plane. A word of condolence by the Indian Navy ( after political clearance) at the loss of lives of those who were our invitees and saluted our president would be in order.
This is fucking dirty behaviour from the US. Iβm so ashamed to be in a allied country with its bases.
Quietly, calmly and forensically, BBC just dismantled the Trump communications shitshow on Iran.
No hyperbole, just laying out an unprecedented military, diplomatic and reputational shambles.
Worth a watch.

Public ed is good for social cohesion. Public funding for religious private schools divides us.
It's extremely depressing how our system & pol leaders encourage a belief that sending your kids to private, esp "Christian" schools gives them a better future. We need pride & investment in public ed
