Sometimes, I'm thinking about creating a second channel .. one for the fun things of life .. one for venting .. to spare people like you to experience the firehose of my venting self's posts.

For me, it's the other way around.
This account was intended to be a place for me to vent about current events .. I don't really enjoy the venting .. it's just a way of getting it out of my head, for a while.

But, I actually enjoy talking to you .. having some actual personal interactions :)

I have a bluesky, because of the latter "what if" question.

That's true .. and trying to make the best of it, is what counts.

But, sometimes "what if?" questions help me determine better ways of doing things, too (e.g. "What if Trump were stuck in a mental hospital, instead of having access to the red button?" or "What if I tried, using my voice, online?").

I hope, you're getting the help and accomodations, you deserve, too ..

For me, it's still new that I actually could ask for some sort of accomodation .. I've never done that, yet .. I usually just bring earplugs and sunglasses, everywhere I go, so I have them, if I need them.

For me, life was like giving 150%-200% of everybody else and still falling short and being told: "You're so talented .. if only you'd apply yourself more" and similar.

Knowing, why that was the case, makes a huge difference for me. I can forgive myself, instead of constantly thinking,I'm a failure.

Congrats to you, too, for finally getting diagnosed, correctly :)

Yep, things could be a lot better ..
I often think: "What if?" .. and then, I can't stop myself from thinking: "Trump wouldn't be starting WW3, right now, if there was a healthcare system, that actually works for everybody".

I've known it, myself, since Feb. 2022 .. so, I went through all the stages of coming to terms with it, in the absence of the healthcare system.

The weight, that used to weigh me down is getting lighter, slowly but surely. I even catch myself smiling, sometimes :)

I'm relieved, that this chapter of getting diagnosed is finally finished (after 4 years of playing the role of Oddyseus in the labyrinth of the German healthcare system).
