In fairness, my rewilding campaign for the river shannon isn't going down very well....
Rain is so unusual in Ireland though. How are we supposed to plan for these black swan events? π€
Also, any chance we could build reservoirs ?
Oh, and our water infrastructure, any chance we could have a plan for that? What? you had one but...
When this originally came out, I gave it zero chance. Then, events dear boy, events.... in this case, the whole LLM revolution. Good luck to them. www.siliconrepublic.com/start-ups/uk...
Companies like Klarna and Revolut are achieving very low default rates in what might already be seen a "higher risk sector. How are they doing it? Real time data, open banking, real time underwriting, and AI.
BNPL "right now" looks like four payments a month, instead of one lump payment at the end of the month. But maybe missing one day's payment, or one weeks payment, has a lower impact on real world outcomes?

Wow. What a piece. The serenity prayer "leaps to mind"... (both as a guide and a symptom of what she describes).

My first post for Aryza and it's on how AI will change all customer experiences, probably more proundly than we even expect today, even with all the hype..

Agentic Payments and The Token Layercake ! Lots of standards games evolving here. However, the security and authentication layers have to catch up. When it hits though, it will hit fast, as the commentators say. podcasts.apple.com/ie/podcast/f...

Turn it off, unplug, wait a full minute, then power up again.
If that fails try return to factory settings.
I joined the manufacturer customer support group and received no responses what so ever
Mollicks to that?
My tone comes across incorrectly here. My bad. I intended to communicate that this is a known risk, and should have been tested and controlled for by the company releasing it. π
Such a good high level discussion of working / co-working with AI @emollick.bsky.social cc @stephenkinsella.bsky.social @marklittle.bsky.social podcasts.apple.com/ie/podcast/n...
And one we have all lived through before, right ? Not exactly an unknown risk.
Stand for nothing. Fall for anything.
Always do!
Heaven, again this year β¦.
Just waiting for the new Andor to drop :)
πππ well done.
Why we are no longer posting on X In line with University of Limerickβs ongoing commitment to providing engaging, transparent, diverse and positive communications through our digital channels, the University has conducted a review of its presence on the X platform (formerly Twitter). Due to the sustained decline in engagement, concern as to the veracity of performance data, the prevalence of automated traffic, an ongoing EU regulatory review, and the increased presence of toxic content, UL will cease posting on the X platform. This decision aligns with our commitment to responsible digital communication and safeguarding our online community as well as our own team members. The University will continue to prioritise social media platforms that provide a safe, engaging, and effective environment to communicate with our audiences, while remaining open to reassessing this decision should the platformβs content moderation practices and user experience significantly improve in future
Today UL has made the decision to no longer post on X
