I started with Time Raiders, and this is basically the same story but with a bit tagged on at the beginning to show Wu Xie is NOT a tomb raider but is dedicated to restoring his country's artifacts to his own cultural institutions!! Lost Tomb on YouTube. I couldn't find it anywhere else. There's another channel that seems to have better subs, but it's missing episode 3, so I switched to this one, which is the 12-episode version. IDK, I'm confused so I'm just going with the flow.

Straw-hat man is on his knees begging for forgiveness from our intrepid tomb raiders: "Ladies and gentlemen, I really. have no choice but to hit on a few grandfathers." I can only assume he is looking for a sugar daddy.

Straw-hat man in close-up pleading, "I will never know Tarzan." Dude, I will never know Tarzan, either, but you don't see me crying about it.

Two extraneous characters from The Lost Tomb (they are not in the book, and IDK what their purpose is, honestly). Anyway, one is a girl in ponytails, wearing a hat that says FingerX on it. She is bidding farewell to our intrepid tomb raiders with the traditional Chinese Tomb Raider phrase, "Baby Elephant."

Something tells me the subtitles here are not entirely accurate.

A frame later, when he is off camera, he will claim he is smoking tobacco. There is also a dog lying on the ground at his feet. The dog's name is Dragon Egg and he has been fed on the flesh of corpses so ghost will not pet him.

It is after the blows are dealt, he asks, what god is worshipped in these green trees? Boy, the Knight replies, boy, were you not just down on your knees? The Knight is the tang of sap / bark rough and petal soft / everywhere leaves scatter / easily crushed / Gawain clings / hardly knows what he clings to / he is the forest and the flower / a turmoil of roots / where god and tree meet and melt / the birch the oak the fern the deer / mushroom maggot crow / here Gawain is branch and bud / blow returned for blow
