I’m on two weeks leave for being Sad. my doctor told me I had to set some goals and she approved these:
1. Finish Baldurs gate 3 (challenge mode imo, I’m only at the start of act 3)
2. silly little walk minimum 3 days a week
3. finish knitting current project

Finally I cracked, raised my voice and said “that is incredibly annoying, please turn your phone off”.
Which he did, and they were mostly quiet for the rest of the film.
Because his phone torch was on, I could see the look of shock when I called him out. Yeah, fuck you buddy, not your house!!!
The man left just as the film was starting, and came back about 30 minutes in with bags of takeout. He then proceeded to turn his phone torch on and wave it around for several minutes while distributing food. This went on for several minutes. During the movie.
However the most horrific thing was that they’d all taken their shoes off.

Anyway I moved.
I went to the movies last night, a 9pm screening of Wicked at the Palace. There was me, two women siting together, and another trio of two women and a man sitting together. That trio had booked seats in my row, and when I got there, had strewn all their stuff everywhere (bags etc).
Good news, hebi is very nervous!!
I have not perceived any hebi! but it’s a pretty busy area so I imagine they are all scared off by the stomping.
Living near a river is nice.
The Holly and the Ivy is the best Christmas carol. Specifically Loreena McKennit’s spooky version on A Midwinter Night’s Dream, but all versions fucking slap.

I cracked and bought a new phone yesterday (after getting nearly 5 years out of an ex-demo XR, which is good going imo). highly do not recommend highpoint the Sunday before Christmas but i am happy to have a functional pocket computer again.
I got my hair rfreshed today and I feel nice. Also we won trivia last night!!! I hope aunty Donna is gr9.
