Then Sinai followed a few days ago.
There are immediate steps Mamdani can take, and he refuses to do so. When asked about those steps, his office has chosen not to comment repeatedly.

If you have the means, please donate to the Trans Continental Pipeline right now. They are a Colorado based org that helps trans people relocate and they are overwhelmed with requests. Colorado borders Kansas, and TCP has the infrastructure to help get people out.

Love when movements share their takeaways and I'm frustrated when movements I'm a part of take it as rules.
I prefer when we listen to others and use our collective knowledge about what works for us. I try to remember there is no "right" way to do this.

Courage looks like Haitian meatpacking workers suing JBS for discrimination, despite Trump, Noem, and Big Ag stoking deportation fears and uncertainty. We're proud to represent them.
Now, workers from many backgrounds at the Greeley plant have authorized a strike.

Thank you. Looks like you did it back in December and I completely missed it! Appreciate all your time and expertise on these critical communications.

I would love to see a "what's in my bag" series on occupied cities and what's in their go bags. Help the rest of us prepare for when it happens here.
I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.
βAll of the great things AI can do might not be known yet, and all of the bad things, too. Letβs just take a more balanced approach as we go.β

If you work in any area of engineering, planning, or public admin, what we do is relevant to our current historical moment, whether we like it or not.
It can be hard to imagine how to defend oneself against an overwhelming force like ICE. But a few enterprising hackers have started projects to do counter-surveillance against ICE, and hopefully protect their communities through clever use of technology. www.eff.org/deeplinks/20...

Show up there at 6pm and you'll find your people.

I think that some of you are mostly venting. And I get it. But venting is not organizing. And I'm sorry but I don't think people know how to get 10s of millions of people to do anything besides voting in this country.
"I live in a world where one of my best friends has been a [NYPD] target ... I need to live in a world where I can privately send that friend money for anything from groceries to car repairs w/o it being woven into some criminal conspiracy ... & w/o having to explain blockchains & wallet addresses."
Similar subpoenas have been defeated in several other states.

I have never come across the word "grapuel" in my life. I've lived in snowy climates for about 16 years. Its precipitation consisting of snow pellets.
The shutting down of power this week, often with little notice and for days, is unprecedented and unacceptable. We can do better, and I will lead the conversation about how we build greater resilience, better support our communities and businesses, and protect health and safety.
