d4 of the set from the first post. unlike most caltrop d4s, this one is crystal-shaped
d12 of the set in the first post. this die probably best shows off the mix between molten gold and translucent sparkly green
couple more pics of the set!

Photo of the full set having just been rolled. The numbers are inked in a brass colour, and the dice themselves are a mix of green and gold. The gold looks molten, and the green looks partially translucent but filled with sparkles and sparkly chunks of reflective green
The d20, coloured green and gold with brass-coloured numbering. This photo gives an idea of how much mica powder was used in the dice, as every millimeter of the die is sparkly
here's a set that's been on my etsy for a while but the listing photos I had weren't great, so I took new ones recently
they still don't do a perfect job showing off just how beautiful it is when it catches the light just right, but now you can see they're gorgeous!
white, pink, and blue d6, inked titanium white so that the numbers still stand out well against the sometimes-white die. both the blue and the pink are translucent, and it sort of looks like a cloudy sunset
two dark space-themed d20s, one (left) painted purple, and the other painted a more silvery glittery purple. the left d20 has a purple hue to it, and the right one is a little more blue but with more noticeable sparkles
some more dice singles that all sold at the con!
these were all extras from sets I had made ages ago, but hadn't painted yet. I decided to paint them differently from their sets and they were well-loved!
my favourite is that d6. I really need to make a set like that again π
second part of the post refers to the d20 on the right, oops
Light pink d20 with light purple inking. The resin is a messy mix between clear and light pink, giving it a sort of marbled look
Sparkling white d20 with blank inking. Lots of small red speckles dot the face of the 20, with some strewn about other faces as well. The back of the die fades to red a little
couple of d20s that sold at the con! the one on the left is especially unique as it was crafted with resin scraps and wasn't made with a full set of dice
the d20 was sold as a single because when I made the set, the d12 disappeared and I've never seen it since π
emerald geode d20 with white-painted numbers. the rock is grey with streaks of gold and the occasional spot of dark plant material. the inside of the geode is painted gold and completely filled with sparkling green "emeralds" that catch the light and sparkle
emerald geode TTRPG set with white-painted numbers. the rocks are grey with streaks of gold and the occasional spot of dark plant material. the insides of the geodes are painted gold and completely filled with sparkling green "emeralds" that catch the light and sparkle
Set name for this one is Fey Emeralds!
making geode-style dice is always really satisfying, and I'm excited to make more. I just have to decide on which colour to make next π
purple geode-style d20, but the "rock" part of the geode is a hazy purple and the inside is pure black, filled with googly eyes
set of purple geode-style dice, but the "rock" part of the geode in each is a hazy purple. the insides are pure black, filled with googly eyes
Set name is The Void States Back
surprisingly not sold yet! yes, the insides are filled with googly eyes, and yes one or two of them still wobble π
d12 with red-inked numbers. the colour of the die itself is a beautifully chaotic mix of dark blue, silver, grey, and blood-red
TTRPG dice set with red-inked numbers. the colour of the dice themselves is a beautifully chaotic mix of dark blue, silver, grey, and blood-red (the blood red is most noticeable on the d%)
Set is named Haurchefant's Honor, for those who recognize the name!
it didn't end up selling at the convention, but a friend wanted it real bad so it has a home anyway π
d6 filled with swirly clouds of mostly white and pink resin, and hints of blue. the numbers are painted black for stark contrast

if you look closely, you can tell that these were made with three colours before being inked in black
do folks prefer very readable dice, dice with number colours that match the theme, or a compromise between both?
it's a forest-themed d20. some fake moss and a fake mushroom have been placed inside, behind a faint veil of cloudiness and suspended glitter

another day of dice!
please keep those away from my android girlfriend, she's from the 1980s and strong magnets can mess up her vision and memory
dark blue d20 with sparkly blue glitter inside. the numbers are painted a brighter blue, and under the surface the edges are painted silver, giving it a paint cage look

going to post more dice again I swear, starting today
Titled "The Paradox of Space". Six panels, the first four of which have a space background. The text reads "Space. An endless void. Beautiful. Empty. And yet, it is not quite empty. Nor is it endless. A paradox." The fifth panel has a weird pink border, and the text reads "How is it not, you ask?" The final panel text reads "Him." and is a panel depicting Kirby.
I heard something about yesterday being "bad comic day" or something, and wanted to make my own for fun!
Turns out, "bad comic" is just a writing prompt to get over the perfectionism block so you can get yourself to just make a silly little comic.
Enjoy!

Excited to vend at my first convention tomorrow! I hope some of y'all come say hi! Come roll the beans dice π
(my pinned post has the con info for those of you who are interested!)
"That's Beans!" is the name of the shown TTRPG set, which uses brown and orange alcohol ink as well as some mica powder to have the appearance of beans in a can. This imagery is aided by the fact that there are very real beans inside of each die! The numbers are painted a gamboge yellow.
All of my dice sets I've been preparing for the convention have a tag to go with them. On the back of the "That's Beans!" tag, it states: "Six and a half hours of work, plus 32 hours curing, + REAL beans, to make"

9x12 pastel painting
agreed! I do my best to describe what's actually there, but I also love to add a little humour sometimes too!
a dicemaker friend of mine the other day said, and I quote,
"TIME FOR NEOPETS DICE?"
π
overgod: "hmm, there's been a lot of turnover lately. I wonder if the gods have been getting enough training. maybe I'm not paying them enough π€"
overgod: ...
overgod: "oh, no, they're just killing each other at the behest of mortals. carry on"
oh no, the god-like being has the ability to cause some kind of memory disruption! all the characters are overcome with varying levels of momentary disorientation!
AstridTheWorldRecordGirl!
congrats Astrid!!
