Also, standard caveat here due to my use of 'have' - makeup has no true rules on how to wear - it's all fun and down to finding something you like - I think the only thing it's worth getting into is understanding all the oil vs water product stuff in terms of it actually staying on.

In terms of placement - I still do the classic "biggest grin and try to dust from the side of the cheekbone" but placement does a lot and looking at videos with different placements of blush is really interesting.

I use it very faintly sometimes, and you have to go for a type that suits your base tone (so, if white, the really simple version is are you more yellow/tan or more pinks). I sometimes get on *kinda* okay with something that has a touch of orange in it because I am very subtly more tan.
