Bryce might be one of my favourites! He has this cool oldtimer cowboy vibe to him and i think it plays well against all the anxious edgerunning

moze nie ma nic do laczenia? moze nie ma ukrytego przekazu, wielkiej tajemnicy? moze to po prostu swiat wielu czasem sprzecznych, czasem nakladajacych sie historii? moze to subiektywne relacje?
just enjoy the ride
i like to think she's found her peace in monte carlo
what makes this one taboo for you? i feel it's a world with not many taboos left
ha, good idea!
how much do you have saved
Also we didn't think of romances having to match lifepaths. Judy isn't a 'streetkid' romance any more than River or Kerry.
But i do get the need for some syndicate pleasures. The best we can (for now) offer is a Dark Matter joytoy.
Meridith doesn't strike me as a 'romance' type of gal. More carnal, no strings attached, power play, that kind of stuff. I think Takemura would make for a better corpo romance but that'd have to be post-main-story and only on some paths.
Of all the characters Johnny is probably the least 'wasted potential' ^^ full story arc, even a few, quests just about him. His potential was def realized in full.
agreed with all that. the scene where you get the jacket is one of the few that always make me teary
romance with a grieving, clearly still not-over-it widow, oof
to me they had *just* the right amount of exposure - enough to be intriguing and fleshed out - but leaving one hungry enough to engage imagination
rare answer! what did you find the most interesting about them?
surely not a character with a limited screentime tho :)
neons, rain, synths and night, right???
good pick :) but he's a company man first and foremost...
we had plenty of awesome backstory for him - helped writing him a lot, even if most of it remained invisible
Curious to hear everyone's most wasted potential!
Tbh i kinda enjoy all the 'wasted potential!!!' posts. Means that even a short screen presence left a strong impression and expanded the world in pkayers' heads.
Also it absolutely doesn't mean we necessarily planned anything else ^^ As they say, always leave them wanting more!
def. shown to me by our own @pkernaghan.bsky.social
The notion you can change the world by buying one product over another is the biggest scam of late stage capitalism. It locks the comfortable bourgeois class into believing donations, consumerism & a few clicks on an app does the same work of civil disobedience, strikes, and protest.
personally i don't think they are as open-ended as people want to them to be. we kinda say what will happen to V.
i have never used or heard this term in the context of Pondsmith's Cyberpunk
first time i hear about something like this...
romances are probably one of the things that, long-term, people appreciate about '77 the most so - hard disagree on this one ^^
we sure are discussing it
i don't follow what you're trying to say now. you mentioned that there should be more options. more options is more scope. the design of those options is a separate topic.
it's a scope consideration. it's impossible to simply have more of everything. and unlocking all romances to all player character types makes npc's sexuality playercentric and that's just weak writing imo too.
