Probably the most fascinating topic I've worked on in a while. If Dragons are like fighter jets, then this guy is AAA. It will blast you out of the skies, track down your grounded body, and rip into your ribcage.

Was brainstorming on how I'd interpret the beast version of the F-15 Eagle.

The massive intakes were a bit of a headache but I thought about the idea of putting them on the neck like with the Raptor but interpreting the ramps as a group of feathers that moves up and down.

A trio of Lycaenops bristle at some threat unseen. The scheme is very red, yellow and blue, though modulations in color may be seen throughout. The creatures are a blend of mammalian and reptilian traits. I gave them a mixture of scales and fur and quills, mostly looking at monotremes at first. I included some whiskers in there too ;) This was a CMYK experiment for me and the red definitely pushed farther than I had initially intended but as the intended audience is me and I like it well..I declined to fix it ;)
