The feminist discourse on Twitter can get really Mary Daly vs Sheryl Sandberg sometimes. Everybody wants to have the same arguments as if feminist thought never advanced past a certain idea/time.

I’m only still on Twitter because the cutting edge of radical transfeminism is being concocted there by faceless accounts with <1k followers

The same bourgeois feminist discourse happening on Twitter re:Palestine was also used to deflect from the murder of Jordan Neely. Again and again, vague notions of idealist “sisterhood” are evoked to stifle class analysis and calls for solidarity between colonized peoples.

Straight people are so insane, they’ll constantly complain about their partners and how they basically hate each other. They never stop to think, hey, maybe this isn’t how intimate relationships should be. They just accept misery as the norm and roll with it. Sad!
