Nothing sums it up better
Nothing sums it up better
Made a poster of sorts for my comic! π I can't remember the last time I drew both of the boys in a piece like this. They fought me every step of the way about standing next to eachother π a get along shirt wouldn't be enough for them I fear
"Ah, I have a plot thing to sort out, I'm sure I'll come up with something while I'm in the shower"
[in shower]: So if hot water dries out the skin more, because essentially it's just washing more effectively/aggressively, does this just mean we're human dishes
Oh is this how I find out? Here I thought my phone was glitching π
This sound clip was entirely too fitting for my comic Pravus and his arc. I was compelled to make an animatic with it π₯Ί

A secret third thing but still terribly unpleasant
This set is from 1992 just for reference
I need a weigh in on this, y'all. Please. I'm gonna lose my mind. This feels like Bernstein Bears all over again
I have a Hallmark set of ornaments of Santa's reindeer from the 1990s that I grew up with. I'll post a pic after I hear from everyone.
Is it "Donner" or "Donder"?
Dying gives you new and different problems
A cloaked figure stands in front of a black hole as buildings behind them distort around it, flipped sideways. Glowing blue trickles down their face and arms. Something in their hand glows.
Something on the horizon...
(A little lore behind him- as a cherub stationed at the second highest choir only to seraphim, he previously guarded the gates of Eden. He is now one of the guardians of the library of knowledge. He also fell in love with the human condition and got his hand kinda swatted for it, so to speak π )
A redheaded man stands holding a book with a version of himself behind with two sets of angel wings and a flaming sword. His eyes are aglow in white.
Did an updated design/redraw of one of my much older (cherubim) angel characters, Nicolas. It's been a while since I last drew him. It feels a little surreal seeing him in my current style.
An elf woman with green eyes and the left side of her head shaved, the other with curly red/yellow ombre hair. She is holding fire in one of her hands. Text on the left reads her name: "Inferno"
Drew one of my friend's characters for a bit of practice π
Experimented with actually "painting" Pravus. I've been struggling with some of the undertones in his skin in my normal comic style to follow the logic of the color of his blood is under the surface, so I tried working in a different style and technique to see what I learn out of it.
A woman with long black hair in an action pose unsheathing one of two swords from her back. She has a light blue streak in her hair and a marking near her eye. A white raven is accompanying her on the right side of the image, facing left like she is.
One of my older original characters I've had for quite a long time, Cimon (Cimone? I might add an e, it always felt like it read odd).
She was long overdue for a refresh on her design. She hunts gods. I've missed her π₯Ί
The song that autoplayed as I drew this and then i kept playing lol
youtu.be/KMLDpz9on44?...
This was supposed to be a little practice sketch and then....it wasn't
I'm sure whatever he's dreaming about is probably fine
And no he didn't fall asleep willingly
When you gotta run experiments with your own dang sci fi fantasy lore rules in order to make some sense of it for yourself... π«
Though instead of the emerging puzzle being some cozy cottage or generic cityscape image, it's more like noticing, "hey... is that blood leading up the pathway there? I didn't think I bought the existential horror themed puzzle. Surely I would have remembered something like that."
It's like I'm suddenly finding where all the stray, missing puzzle pieces ended up after all these years, because they were lost in the back of a closet somewhere.
I'mβ¦kind of surprised at how much progress I'm making in such a short amount of time for revising this outline. I've had most of the answers for a while, I just hadn't organized them this thoroughly.
Panel 1: From left to right stands: a woman with curly hair tied back, Pravus, a bald man with red eyes with pointed ears, a bald woman with markings on her face and pointed ears, and a tall bipedal salamander alien who is distraught with a question mark above their head
Panel 2: "Killing Pravus would do it" the bald woman says while cocking a pistol. Pravus has taken a considerable lean back and the curly haired woman is reaching for her to lower the gun.
Future moments in my comic Pravus out of context...π
It turns out the key to motivating a stubbornly self isolating and elusive main character into investing in the plot is to back them into a corner and then throw rocks at them.
Pravus looks down at hims hands
Working on editing a scene in the comic script for Pravus and
I can't let the typo see me laugh or else it'll encourage it
I play RPGs with companions and romance arcs, they're gonna know when I start in with the fanart π€£
The yearning between them is killing meee π€£
Having ship art ideas of my OCs but not necessarily being able to draw/share them publically because none of it has happened canonically in the comic yet is a prison of my own making
Pravus stop arguing with Anton in the other room. I'm busy
