The funniest part about this current stage of the Drake vs Kendrick situation is that most commentators and content creators really have no idea how the music industry works. But that won’t stop them from spreading more dangerous pseudo knowledge. SMH

Let’s keep things in perspective here. When Drake came into the game he was pushing a sound that was a true alternative to what was popular in those days, it was NOT mainstream. The Drake sound became a commercial success because we all fell in love with it.
