My first RISC-V device was the VisionFive 2. Interesting toy, but not good enough to be a daily driver (especially software support).
I'm busy testing with the SpacemiT K3 (remote system). I hope to receive one in a couple of months, to see if it can be my daily driver.

Armbian now has Platinum support for the Muse Pi Pro, SpacemiT K1 RISC-V SBC.
I have HDMI audio working with the rolling release image. You can install gcc-14 for better support for vectors. Support for the integrated GPU still needs work.

You can try an older version of Blender. I tested 3.6 on a Rockchip RK3588 board.
You will need OpenGL 3.3. You can try with Zink (OpenGL on Vulkan). MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=zink
Denoiser probably not working.
If you are really desperate, you can run OpenGL on the CPU.

China is investing a lot in RISC-V, India is also investing in RISC-V. Europe is also investing in RISC-V, but not for desktop computers, but servers and controller chips (for automotive).

JH7110 is a mess (I have the VF2 V1.2), but images for the K1 are a whole lot better. SpacemiT is busy upstreaming support for the K3, so I have good hope we can run it with a mainline kernel.

A kind person gifted me Doom + Doom II and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind GOTY Edition on GOG. Now I have some more games I can test on my SBCs.
I take any working GPU driver as a win. I also have remote access, and I tried to start Warzone 2100 (available in the Debian repo), but bwrap threw an error. But vkcube is working with Bianbu (Ubuntu derivative).
